It's now official! Season 2 of Sanctuary will commence on October 9, 2009 at 10pm on Syfy in the US. No word yet on dates for other countries.

"The second season of Sanctuary premieres on Oct. 9 a 10 p.m. Special guest stars this season include Christopher Gauthier (Eureka) and Michael Shanks (Stargate SG-1)."

Paul McGillion is returning to his Wexford role on Sanctuary. From Paul's website :

07.15.09 - Paul has been cast in a recurring role on SyFy's 'Sanctuary', He'll play a re-imagined version of 'Wexford', his character seen in the original online pilot.
