In the two hour season finale (January 15), docile abnormals become violent the world over and Will goes to Mumbai to get answers. He's bitten by an abnormal spider wguch - long story short - may lead to global disaster. The episode pushed heartthrob Dunne to his limits. The spider's venom has Will breaking into intense fever and spasms, speaking extensive Hindi and hallucinating an entire Bollywood musical number featuring him and 15 backup dancers. "It was totally insane," Dunne says. "I'm not a dancer at all, so I was absolutely terrified. I think I got through it by divine intervention!"

Also shot scenes for an episode on location Japan. They were there doing press for Syfy Japan and decided to take advantage of the opportunity -- had 76 hours. We'll get to meet the new head of Tokyo Sanctuary and the rebuilt Tokyo Sanctuary- Damien was dying when Martin told us this because Martin was revealing too much.The scenes they shot in Japani were filmed almost guerilla style - Martin was working the camera, there were no permits and they were writing scenes onsite because they were having fun and wanted to maximize the opportunity. So when you watch the ep, just know that it's really Japan and not just stock footage and CGI.

The Sci Fi Japan website has put up a gallery of photos and a video from last weeks trip to Japan by Damian, Amanda, Martin and Robin. Also included on the website (if I'm getting the gist of the Google translation correct) is that Tatsuya Ishii will be making a guest appearance as the Director of the Tokyo Sanctuary.

Hmm. He got way more detailed than I would have expected from him, but some of the basic, obscure points are that: it takes place in India, they're building an entire set outside in the back of the studios, it's going to blow us away, and there's a sea creature. Oh, and dancing.
