Episode 2x10
ITV Episode Synopsis
In the latest episode of the sci-fi drama, Dr Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping) and her team rescue the passengers and crew of a sinking ship off the coast of South Africa and teleport them back to the Sanctuary for medical treatment. But when one of the peaceful refugees is brutally murdered, all eyes turn to Druitt (Christopher Heyerdahl). Magnus confronts Druitt, knowing that something has been awakened in him that is driving him to act on his murderous instincts. When Druitt takes off down the hallway, Magnus needs help from Kate (Agam Darshi) to stun him and stop him in his tracks.
The Sanctuary’s power systems start to experience a series of electrical fluctuations and surges, and Henry (Ryan Robbins) gets to work to stabilise them. But as Will (Robin Dunne) leaves the operating room, the door suddenly slams shut behind him. At the same time, Kate and Bigfoot, who are en route to check on the Abnormal containment area, are jolted to a stop in the elevator, trapped between floors. Magnus has secured Druitt in a containment cell where he recovers, handcuffed, and still weak from his ordeal. Just as the others experienced, the doors suddenly slam shut, locking them in the cell together, Druitt still trying to resist his urge to kill. Cut off from the others and with no power, Henry frantically tries to reboot the computer system and figure out what has caused the Sanctuary to take control.

Damian dodges a question about Druitt :
Ken : I want to ask about teleportation and the nature of Jack The Ripper's healing or whatever because I'm a little confused by this. I thought the madness was caused by the teleportation but in the final two episodes and then we saw the first two for this season, ah we got those early, it's like you're zipping around, everybody's teleporting everywhere. Are we going to have problems with that insanity again?
Damian: [joking] well you just won the plot hole device award for Sanctuary again.
Mark: You know that's a really good point, I hadn't thought of that
Damian: Thank you Ken. We'll change the oil under the bus you just threw us under. [Laughter] Ah, we actually do answer some of the questions, not all, in an episode about I think it was 10 eps in called Haunted which is a very important one for the Druitt character. And does explain a lot about how he came to be, how his power works versus other powers and his madness and it's true we do get a little teleportation happy in Season 2, but it's a very cool effect, so we really went for it. [Laughter] But it's a very good question and I think that Druitt's character is very much by design to be very dualistic and enigmatic and there are a lot of powers that happen when this group of The Five took the vampire blood and we really sort of took that whole concept out for more of a spin in Season 2 because we really did just introduce it in Season 1 and so I think hopefully you'll be back next year going I still don't understand, saw that episode - Hello!! Confused! So we'll talk then.
Amanda: No, we will explain a lot

From Fan Report on studio visit :
Still posing for camera, Amanda announces "It's too bad I'm not wearing my nice Magnus outfit anymore. This is my post-apocalyptic Magnus outfit."We all sort of pause and look at her. LOL, AMANDA. SPOILER. She sort of covers her mouth and giggles. "Whoops!" But we all go back to posing for the picture. At some point, Robin jokingly adds "We're filming our Western."
