Season 3 Fan Promo Competition
Due to the number of entries the judging panel only selected a first place in each Section. All entries were very good making it hard to choose one and those that did not place deserve an honourable mention for their excellence.

Due to the premiere date being pushed back I've decided to extend the time for the contest.

You know, one of the hardest things I've found to do is explain to a non Sanctuary fan just what Sanctuary is and why we fans are such fans. I've always thought that maybe some of the show promos could be along the lines of "I'm character X and this is my life or this is who I am" so I was very happy to see something along those lines for the Season 3 promo that turned up at Comic Con and Syfy (I'm hanging out to see the one that was shown at The Sanctuary Experience Convention in Vancouver!!).
With just a month to go before the Season 3 premiere on Syfy in the U.S. there hasn't been much of any promotion so I'm challenging all you fans out there to do your own promotions! The theme will be - what Sanctuary (or a Sanctuary character) means to you, try to encapsulate the essence of what makes you such an avid fan. There will be three areas to the challenge :
- a 2 minute (2.5 min. max.) video promo
- movie poster (go classic 50's style or modern style or your own unique style!)
- signature banners (max. 700(w) x 180(h) pixels)
This fan competition has no prizes beyond promoting the series but I will be forming a panel of fans/judges to select 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category. Please use common sense with your entries as anything offensive or something that would not get past a TV censor will not be allowed in the competition.
To enter the contest simply create your promo in your chosen category and put it up somewhere publicly accessible on the web and use the contact form here on this website and provide me with a link to it and your name / handle. I'll then post all the links in each category. Enter as many times as you like but each entry must be unique and not a variation of a previous entry. So get those creative juices flowing and get cracking!! Sanctuary Season 3 is coming and we're going to tell the world!
